There's more to fitness than working out ever day, eating clean, food prep, hydration, getting adequate rest, and supplementation.
We're a society that focuses all our energy on the physical or the mental aspects of fitness, but what about WELLNESS? Big difference! We want the quick fix, we want all the bells and whistles that comes with the fast silver bullet cure of weight loss, the all trendy SIX PACK, and the BIKINI BODY.
But let me tell you this, the skin deep aesthetics only last so long. Being truly healthy is being fit mind, body and soul, basically it's wellness from the inside out.
When we're in a place on the inside that is calm, centered, and in harmony with life, we resonate wellness, and that kind of wellness manifests in the way our bodies move, rest, heal, and thrive, and this affects our whole life and the world around us, as well as the people we love.
When our thoughts are scattered and our emotions are out of control, we're not centered, instead we are in a place of duress. The stress we create by what we think, sends a message to our cells that we are in a fight or flight survival mode, and that kind of energy creates a very vulnerable environment in our body. This kind of instability is what creates DIS-EASE. (DISEASE, ILLNESS, DEATH).
Mind you, there's a purpose for that survival mechanism, and we are hard wired with it for our survival, but in today's day and age, we don't have to be hard pressed to react like our early ancestors had to, or in times of famine and war. We, are better capable of choosing how we associate our relationships to the world we live in, we can choose how we react to our environment and we can choose to be affected or not.
Basically, wellness has more to do with how you CHOOSE TO THINK, AND HOW YOU THINK WILL AFFECT HOW YOU FEEL, your emotions at any given moment will either fuel your bodies natural wellness process, or it will create a negative state of illness in the body, which can lead to death.
When we choose to think in a certain way that is not in harmony with our well being, our bodies become out of balance, and at odds with it's self. IT'S LIKE SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE TO THE CELLS, WHICH CREATES INNER TURMOIL.
The symptoms we encounter is our body's way of trying to get our attention to remedy the situation, by telling us something is wrong, and out of balance. The only way to correct or HEAL the body is to go to the SOURCE.
The SOURCE is USUALLY a negative thought, a belief in something that doesn't resonate to your soul on a deeper level, and is needing to be identified, accepted, forgiven and let go of once and for all. If not the illness can evolve to the point of death. (Obesity, anxiety, depression, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, etc are all illnesses of some sort of imbalance.)
Our bodies are just one third of the TRINITY that is YOU AND ME, we cannot focus only on the physical and not think that the mind and soul has no part in the wholeness of our health.
So if we want to lose the weight, control hypertension, heal our aches and pains, live longer, happier, wealthier and wiser lives and not just live but THRIVE, than realize, we have to change the way we think and assess the beliefs that we hold on to, that no longer serve our higher good.
Only by going to the SOURCE of where these thoughts are coming from, feeling what's hurting us, examining why, and realizing that we alone have the POWER to change our lives in the NOW, by accepting that we want healing, by letting go of the hurt, pain, grief, or whatever else it may be, can we change our ILLNESS TO WELLNESS, MIND, BODY & SOUL.
Working out, eating right, getting the rest we need, is very important, but it's just as important the FEED THE MIND WITH HEALTHY HAPPY POSITIVE THOUGHTS, AND OUR SOULS WITH JOY BLISS AND LOVE, WILL WE LIVE A LIFE THAT WE CRAVE.
