I've had many clients ask me the same question, concerning gym memberships, personal trainer services, cost effectiveness and their concerns regarding WHEN TO CALL IT QUITS AND WALK AWAY.
HERE'S MY OPINION, AND MINE ONLY....
I've been raised in a 47 year successful family business, dealing with CUSTOMER SERVICE ON A DAILY BASIS, it's our #1 concern that our customers and clients are KEPT HAPPY, and if they're not, we DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. Mind you, they're some people no matter what we've done, we could never ever please. But they are the acceptation to the rule.
That being the foundation of my upbringing and business mind, IF ANY ESTABLISHMENT CANNOT MEET YOUR NEEDS, FOR WHATEVER REASON, IT'S TIME TO LEAVE. It's that simple. If you choose to stay loyal, ask yourself this questions: 1) Have I spoken to the administration to see if there is some way they could remedy your concerns? If they work with you, than give them a chance. If they start giving you #EXCUSES it's your choice to try it out, or FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT SUITS YOUR NEEDS.
2) WHAT IS LOYALTY? Loyalty only works if who you're being loyal to supports and upholds their mission as a business. You are a paying client/customer, your LOYALTY IS TO YOU, they're in the business of doing #BUSINESS, THEY DEPEND ON YOUR MONEY AS INCOME, SO THEY SHOULD BE WORKING FOR IT. IT'S ABOUT MEETING A NEED, FILLING A DEMAND, AND DOING IT PROFESSIONALLY.
The same goes for PAYING A PERSONAL TRAINER. Every personal trainer is different, unique, has a personal style, may be specialty etc... you get the idea, but the same applies here. If you're NOT GETTING YOUR NEEDS MET, it's time to find someone else. I suggest talking to your trainer, let them know your concerns, and likewise, if you get the same vibes, IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE. AND REMEMBER CHANGE IS A GOOD THING.
#MONEY, you work dam hard for your income, you DESERVE THE VERY BEST IN SERVICE QUALITY, ON ALL LEVELS, so to me, once again, IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT AND YOUR NEEDS AREN'T BEING MET, WHY ARE YOU CHOOSING TO KEEP PAYING FOR THE SAME OLD, SAME OLD!!!
Remember, there is always another source of finding what you need, BUT CHOOSING TO STAY THE SAME, IN FEAR OF NOT BEING LOYAL, IS NOT A GOOD THING, YOU'RE ACTUALLY COMPROMISING YOURSELF, and TRUST ME YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE.

Out of order equipment, not being repaired in appropriate timing

Personal trainer don't presenting themselves in a professional manner
Personal trainer cost is WAY OVER THE TOP for your location, compared to the demographics average. DO YOUR RESEARCH
NO POSTED RULES OF CONDUCT
Restrooms are not up to par
Holiday hours of operation, not consistent
YOU JUST DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE IN YOUR SURROUNDINGS.....
