In everything in life, we tend to go at it with all the gusto we can muster when we first begin. But, it's not always the right thing to do. Nope! Life, is meant to be experienced, enjoyed, felt, shared, remembered, but when we're taking it at a full throttle, we actually don't really take time to see the amazing things going on around us, the people, the places and even a butterfly floating on the wind.
Exercise is the same way. PACE YOURSELF, give yourself the time needed to learn a new training move, not just go through the motions, know why you're doing it, and what muscle group you're working. If you're running, and everyday you jump on the treadmill, elliptical or the bike, and staring at the big screen t.v. in the gym, GET THE HELL OUT AND TAKE IT TO THE ROAD. If you're a runner, and you run the same route every dam day, that's not fun, that's not challenging yourself, that's staying the same, choose to mix it up, take another route, see a different scene play out in front of you. IF YOU'RE CHANGING UP YOUR EATING HABITS, PACE YOURSELF, losing weight, eating cleaner smaller portions and just allowing your body to find it's metabolic rhythm takes some time.
Challenge yourself, by giving yourself a new way to look at the things around you. FIND THE RHYTHM TO YOUR LIFE, YOUR RUN, YOUR WORKOUT, YOUR EVERY BREATH, AND WHEN YOU DO, YOU'LL START TO KNOW YOUR OWN PERSONAL HEART BEAT, SOUL AND MIND, trust your ebb and flow, your inner timing, will show you what's right for you.
By PACING YOURSELF, you prevent and avoid BURN OUTS.
If you want to continue what you're doing, don't rush it, enjoy it, and be with it, whatever it may be.
LIFE IS ABOUT LIVING, when we allow the natural rhythm to move us through our daily lives, THINGS HAVE A MAGICAL WAY OF WORKING IT'S SELF OUT. ~ PK
