Q: "HOW DO YOU AFFORD TO KEEP EATING HEALTHY, WHEN FOOD COSTS SO MUCH MONEY THESE DAYS?"
A: I keep it simple! Just like that, I eat the same things I've always eaten growing up, the only difference is, I choose to use less condiments, I regulate my #SALT #SUGAR #TRANSFAT & #PROCESSEDFOODS, I control my portion sizes, I use a medium size plate, instead of the HUGE over sized dinner plates. I drink lots of clean water, AND YES I DO EAT BROWNIES, at least once a week. But the difference is, THE SIZE OF THAT BROWNIE ISN'T 4"X4". It's half of that, and if I go out and eat, my hubby and I share a lot of the food that we order. We ask for 2 forks for dessert, and that gives us more variety and take home for later. I also SHOP SIMPLY, MY TO BUY LIST, isn't over the top. I don't buy what's out of season, I also buy local, supporting my local farmers, ranchers and merchants that do the same.
You also have to change your mind set about LACK OF MONEY TO AFFORD THE THINGS THAT NURTURE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. If you continue to believe it's TOO EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE HEALTHY GOOD FOOD, than it will be. But, REMEMBER YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, AND YOU SHOULD REALIZE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR FOOD AND YOUR HEALTH, YOU'RE SO WORTH IT.
