This beginners exercise class is geared toward adults or those just starting on their fitness journey. Instructed by PK Soares-Mercado, Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT), this class is based on simple strength building exercises for mindfully improving balance, tone and functional fitness. Sessions include low intensity warm ups (no jumping or running), emphasis on proper breathing, lifting and floor exercises, cool down and stretching, and brief question and answer periods. Participants will also learn proper use of exercise equipment, proper form, grip and stance and basic weight management and meal planning. PK Soares-Mercado is a professional personal trainer who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others to be happier and healthier.
